You will be responsible for overseeing and administering leave requests and accommodations requiring specialized attention. Your ability to communicate the value and significance of the benefit programs will directly contribute to fostering a workplace environment that supports and nurtures growth.

Key Responsibilities:

· Serve as a primary resource to all employees by timely responding to questions and inquiries to the general benefits mailbox and/or direct to appropriate team members.

· Administers sick leave, Family and Medical Leave (FMLA), parental leave, short- and long-term disability, military (long term), and personal leave of absences.

· Communicate frequently with managers and supervisors to provide status updates on team members’ leaves of absence.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver benefit programs that cater to the unique needs of our diverse workforce. From health and wellness initiatives to financial security and career development, you will ensure our benefits offerings reflect our EIPC culture.

· Stay aware of industry trends and advancements in benefits to continually enhance our offerings. Your innovative ideas will enable us to remain at the forefront of providing comprehensive and progressive benefits that align with our employees' evolving needs.

· Assist with Worker’s Compensation Claims/process.

· Documents, audits, and requests required documentation for eligibility or needed updates as required by established policies and procedures.

· Develops and generates reports to measure and analyze utilization and other trends.

· Participate in the Benefit enrollment process for all new hires and life events, including new hire benefits presentation facilitation.

· Process and maintain benefits and leave timecard related items in the HRIS system.

· Responsible for the data integrity of company personnel and benefits records

· Escalate issues as needed through close partnership with third party vendor.

· Participate in a successful annual open enrollment by supporting development of communication plans and updates to the intranet.

· Enrolls employees with carriers and process life status changes.

· Assist with planning and conducting wellness and community engagement events.

· Reconcile monthly billing with the appropriate allocations.

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

· Requires a bachelor’ degree in related field and 1-3 years of relevant experience, an associate degree and 3 or more years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma and 5 or more years of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Understanding of benefits trends, legal considerations, and other regulations to ensure company’s compliance to federal and state law and to inform strategic decision-making.

· A proactive mindset that drives you to continually seek novel ways to evolve our benefits offerings and align them with employee needs.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization abilities.

· Ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality.

· Exceptional communication skills to convey the intrinsic value of our benefits, fostering a sense of appreciation and trust among employees.

· Ability to be flexible by adapting decisions or actions to facilitate the most productive work environment.

· Ability to complete a variety of tasks independently and efficiently in accordance with established deadlines.

· Ability to listen accurately to the needs of employees.

· Proficiency in Office Suite applications, HRIS, and benefit enrollment and administration software.
